SOS is dedicated to making our students self-sustainable, and our partnership with the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) through the ATAL Tinkering Labs program is one way we are achieving this goal. Through this program, high school students develop an innovative mindset and work on finding sustainable solutions to community problems using their technological skills.
At SOS, exceptional teaching is enhanced by technology to deliver customized instruction to every student. Blended learning environments, including self-paced classrooms, cater to diverse learning styles and promote independence. Google Classroom enables students to seek help from teachers at their own pace.
SOS encourages students to pursue their interests and passions by offering clubs in Literary, Science, Maths, Environment, and Art. These clubs foster teamwork and unity, and participating in club activities helps students develop essential life skills and improve their academic performance. Meet the Author and Meet the Scientist events offer valuable exposure to the real world.
At SOS, co-curricular activities (CCA) play an essential role in providing students with systematic and meaningful learning opportunities, preparing them for their future through dance, music, art, and physical education. CCA helps develop a holistic personality that focuses on physical fitness and multiple skillsets, allowing students to explore strengths and talents beyond academics and learn to handle success and failures.
SOS has a comprehensive support and guidance program for children with special needs, slow learners, and learning disabilities that includes collaboration with general teachers to improve their academic performance.
SOS offers career counselling services to help students identify their strengths and interests and choose a suitable career path accordingly.
SOS exhibitions provide students with a platform to showcase their learning and talent in science, art, math, and more, highlighting their curiosity and creativity.
SOS's Young Achievers - Research Skills program provides students with different opportunities to grow in various fields, including research. At this intra-SOS conference led by students, students present their research work on topics of their choice from a set of given themes.
SOS offers a wide variety of digital resources accessible to students at any time and from any location. Our in-house class-wise and subject-wise resources, digital libraries, and innovation portal promote personalized learning, self-learning, and encourage students to go beyond the textbook.
